Kids n Biz Fest 2019

It is Kidz ‘n’ Biz time again! This is a great marketing opportunity, which is only available to HBA members. We are always accepting new members, so use this opportunity to join us.

What is Kidz ‘n Biz?

Kidz ‘n Biz is a fun-filled community event which connects local businesses and families. Hundreds of people young and old attend each year! By signing up for space, you are not only able to showcase your business but will have the opportunity to connect with attendees one-on-one. Exciting activities and games are scattered throughout the venue. As kids are drawn to nearby entertainment, parents and adult attendees are drawn to your booth. There is a stage with a DJ, dancing, demonstrations, and singing. Thanks to generous sponsors, entertainment also includes a bounce house, giant slide, balloonist, face painters, crazy hair, fun food concessions, tons of games and prizes, and even more! It is all free for families to participate in.

Play and WIN! Adults are encouraged to visit each business to be eligible for the grand prize drawing. Your business will be included on the map that all families receive when they attend. Each family will stop by your space to have it marked by your business. With a coverall, they are entered to win the grand prize drawing.

Prizes! Helping to encourage event attendance, each child receives a ticket to be entered to win a new bicycle (which are provided by the generous Silver Sponsors). There is a grand prize drawing ceremony at the end of the event. You may also provide games and prizes at your individual booths throughout the event.

Participate! Each business is provided a 10×10 space (tables and chairs are available; electricity spaces are limited). You provide everything else- signage, table coverings, promotional materials, etc. Attendance often exceeds 500 so please plan accordingly with your materials. Note that electricity is limited and on a first come – first served basis. Games and activities are scattered throughout the venues. Booths should consider including an activity or game related to your business to increase visibility.

Platinum Sponsor: $500

  • Logo in the newspaper advertising
  • Signage at the event recognizing your business solely for the item of your choosing.
  • Priority listing on the HBA website
  • Recognition on the City of Hugo’s Facebook page for your community support
  • Business name on event map (printed in the brochure & posted at the event)
  • Logo in the event brochure with sponsorship description
  • Recognition of your business at the event by the DJ

Gold Sponsor: $400

  • 3 GRAND PRIZE sponsorships available with single business recognition: Family 4 pack to Valleyfair, Family 4 pack to Nickelodeon Universe; Overnight at Great Wolf Lodge and waterpark passes for 4; One Night stay at Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn in White Bear Lake
  • 2 sponsorships available sharing recognition of the Family Fun Stage
  • Business name listed in the newspaper advertising
  • Signage at the event recognizing your business
  • Priority preference in the location of your booth at the event

  • Sponsorships available for the annual sponsor-a-bike giveaway (with helmet) – the kids LOVE this!

  • Business name and sponsorship description listed in the event brochure
  • Business name on a bike given away
  • Shout out to your business at the bike giveaway
  • Recognition of your business at the event by the DJ

Bronze Sponsor: $200

  • Sponsorships available for All Day Passes for 2 to Big Thrill Factory in Oakdale or SkyZone
  • Signage at the event recognizing your business
  • Business name and sponsorship description listed in the event brochure
  • Recognition of your business at the event by the DJ
